Teratozoospermia - the medical term for abnormally shaped sperm, also known as poor sperm morphology. Teratozoospermia is a potential cause of male infertility.

Testicular sperm extraction - (TESE) is a minor surgical procedure that involves the removal of a small sample of testicular tissue in order to retrieve sperm for use in an IVF treatment cycle. A procedure used in cases of male infertility, testicular sperm extraction may be used when the male does not have sperm in his ejaculate but does still produce sperm in the testes.

Testosterone - the main male hormone, produced in the testes, which stimulates the development of male sex characteristics and is essential in the production of sperm. Low levels of testosterone can cause male infertility.
